May Discovery Box – The Ultimate Kentish Eggs Benedict

May is asparagus season, and we've built this month's box around one of the great British brunch classics - with a proper Kent twist.
Everything you need for the ultimate Eggs Benedict is here: fresh asparagus from Kent Veg Box growers, free range Kentish eggs, silky traditional hollandaise from The Wooden Spoon Preserving Co. in Wye, and thick-cut Kentish Honey Baked Ham from Stephen's Fresh Foods. All you need to bring is your favourite bread - whether that's sourdough, a toasted muffin, or whatever's in the kitchen.
Round it off with a bowl of fresh strawberries and raspberries with Hinxden Farm Dairy natural yogurt, a handful of wilted spinach on the side, and one of two ales from Goody Ales in Herne when the mood takes you. A golden ale or a hoppy IPA - both brewed with Kent hops, both well earned.
