'Orchard Hill Farm is situated in the Historic village of Ightham in Kent. Some of our Wild Boar roam through the ancient woodland located at the heart of our 100 Acre farm as they would have done centuries before.

At our family run farm, animal welfare and quality of meat is our highest priorities. We are the largest supplier of UK produced Wild Boar. Our animals live in a free range, natural environment with minimal human interaction. They live and breed outdoors.

Wild Boar can take up to 18 months to mature which is longer than commercial pigs. The slow growing nature of the wild boar gives the meat a slender texture which is high in protein and low in cholesterol.

Wild boar is an extremely hardy animal that is capable of growth even during the hardest winter. Unlike the domestic pig, wild boar are not prone to illness or disease.'

Wild boar meat is naturally lean and protein-rich, with lower cholesterol than conventional pork. These burgers deliver robust, gamey flavour perfect for grilling or pan-frying. Cook from frozen over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Serve in brioche buns with caramelised onions, mushrooms, or a red wine reduction.
