Large Fruit Box
Our fruit boxes are filled with fresh, seasonal fruit sourced from Kent farms wherever possible.
We work directly with local farms, supporting Kent growers every day and keeping food miles as low as we can. Through much of the year, your box will include proper Kent-grown fruit, chosen for flavour, freshness and quality.
As fruit is more seasonal than veg, the contents naturally change throughout the year. In winter, we may include some citrus fruit to give you a better variety, otherwise the box would be almost entirely apples and pears.
Each week’s box reflects what is available from our farms at the time. During soft fruit season, the number of items in the box may be slightly lower, as berries and soft fruits are considerably more expensive than apples and pears.

Please note: Our fruit comes to you as it comes from the farm. It is not polished or processed like supermarket fruit, helping keep it fresher and reducing unnecessary handling.

Reduction in Food Miles
Transportation of produce is the main contribution factor to the produce's total emissions. We shorten this journey considerably and let you know how many food miles from the farms each week.

We are able to commit to a new grower for the long term. We can encourage small-scale farming by commiting to buy what they produce, meaning they can plant with a guranteed buyer and price.
